Ok, So I have done all the updates by hand, and I am now back the the same place as the poster who's thread title I "borrowed" as we are having the same problem except when I click extend it just "does it" with no pairing, searching, etc. The Intel HD Graphics control panel is like yup you go WiDi and windows is like nope you have VGA. Meanwhile what I really have is nothing working.
