PINs > COMMANDS

Hi everyone, I need to generate a frequency from 50 Hz to 50 KHz. Using PWM I assumed I need to work with registers to change the default internal frequency of TIMERs. So i'm trying to use tone ( ). I need to know which pin is better in Galileo 1st Gen and where to find a documentation about PIN > COMMANDS (i mean for which pins the commands works properly e.g. PWM, TONE, FastPwm etc) thanks
